Pet Expo

Brad and I like to go to the Pet Expo every year at the Expo Center. This year was no different. We like to see all the dogs and different things that they have for pets in general. Here are a few pics that we took while we were walking around.

This Great Dane is Green bean. He is 195 pounds and 44 inches from his shoulder blades to the ground! He eats 10 cups of food a day!! Brad loves this dog and thinks it should be our next dog to have!!

The County Prison has a K9 unit and they were at the show demonstrating how they use the dogs. They showed how the dogs find drugs in suitcases and how they train them to help apprehend people.

February 2011 Blizzard

February 2, 2011, we were hit by a big blizzard. We woke up to 18+ inches of snow!! Here are just a few pictures from around the apartment. The first one is the view out the front door. As you can see, there was no way out that door for awhile. Look at all the snow!! Its almost as high as the mailboxes!! I like snow, but not this much!
